Maladaptive Dreamer
After battling her loneliness in space, a young astronaut recontextualizes her relationship with her mother.

I created the concept design for the astronaut's control panel for the ship. Through multiple iterations in Photoshop and notes from the directors, I used warm tones and round shapes to match the protagonist' design.
My Folklore: A Short Story
In five illustrations, I recounted a memory in the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic when I helped my dad recover from intense gastrointestinal issues. I took illustrated and literary references from The Epic of Gilgamesh to describe moments of contemplating my dad's delicate and limited on Earth.

Raven, a young artist from Shanghai, gets arrested in the midst of the White Paper Revolution. Sharing her experience, officers handcuff Raven’s tiny wrists, do an anal cavity search, stick her in a jail cell with no toilet paper, and temporarily confiscate her phone. Once she returns home, the police chase Raven for speaking against the officers.

Have You Eaten?
Have You Eaten? is a 2D traditional short film about Kai, a workaholic college student that cooks a meal for the first time in a while. Alone in her kitchen, she experiences homesickness while reminiscing about the warm memories of cooking with her papa.
I developed the beds for the protagonist in her present and past states, along with how alarm clocks and furniture in their homes differentiated in their sleek, modern look versus their childhood home.
100 Acres Down
In a world where genetically modified bees take the water of the world, humans must adapt to new societal structures in the post apocalypse as water holds more value than gold. The character development project, 100 Acres Down, combines the characters of Winnie the Pooh and the horrific, Lovecraftian realities of environmental destruction to create an exciting storytelling experience.
I developed tanks and trucks that collect bee venom to create recreational powders for the wealthy elite.
Harbor Lights
After the death of Grandmother Dorothy, her grandson Alex must protect the family gift shop of Provincetown, Massachusetts as the sleazy Septimus OHare buys up the properties of the town. Chaos ensues as a curious sea mammal steps into the Provincetown giftshop, and Alex must toe the line between being a kid and a new business owner.
I designed the characters and creature based on the real Provincetown in Massachusetts in the 1980s, along with a mock pitch presentation.
