¡TAXI! is a 2D animated short film I created for my senior capstone.
In 1980s Manhattan, my father, a cab driver host to ever-changing casts of characters, reminisced a time when he drove a director to a film set and landed an acting gig.
As the film's director and overall supervisor, I ensure that all team members work with utmost efficiency on both the production and artistic sides.
My responsibilities include: researching story and location, organizing meetings with leads and asset artists, recruiting team members, critiquing work, boosting morale, and adapting team members to the film's genre and style.

BirdLand is a 2D animated short film produced in 20 weeks for a collaborative class.
Raven, a Shanghainese artist, gets arrested amid the White Paper Revolution. Sharing her experience, Raven goes through horrific events at the hands of the police. Once she returns home, the police chase Raven for speaking against the officers.
As the co-director and production manager, I was responsible for maintaining all deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring positive relationships between departments to complete the film on time.
In addition, I announced the due dates, assisted in rough animation, and created a majority of the backgrounds.
